We received concerns from numerous UTE members regarding the recent information posted on the PIPSC-AFS website pertaining to the establishment of the AU Development Program, specifically the consultation on the scope of work.
I have informed the Employer of the membership’s concerns regarding CRA and PIPSC participating in consultation pertaining to the scope of work currently being performed by our members. I have received assurance from the Employer that there will be no consultation regarding the scope of work of our members. The Employer confirmed that the MOU consists of a commitment to work with PIPSC to create the foundation of the AU Development Program.
The Employer also confirmed, as is normal practice, any evaluation regarding the scope of work impacting our members would require consultation with UTE.
