Dear Brother Ritchie,
On behalf of the 27,000 members of the Union of Taxation Employees, a component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada, I wish to convey our complete support to your members of Aveos Fleet Performance Inc. in Montreal, Winnipeg and Vancouver.
We deplore the current circumstances in which Aveos has subjected these members to, and we join the call on the Harper government to enforce the Air Canada Act so that the jobs of these 2,500 workers can be saved.
We would also like to able to assist these members in a more substantial and impactful way. To that end, I invite you to communicate with our office so that we may discuss any and all measures of support that could be undertaken to show our support and solidarity with our Brothers and Sisters who have been negatively affected by the actions of Aveos, and the inaction of the Harper government.
